Traveling by air
The main airposrts for access to the French Alps are Geneva, Lyon, Grenoble and Nice. Depending on your country of residence you may find direct flights into Geneva. If you need to organise direct flights from the UK there are a number of airports available; Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, Liverpool, Manchester, Nottingham East Midlands, Southampton, Dublin, Cardiff, Belfast and Birmingham. From the USA and Canada; Newark, New York JFK, Toronto. Many USA visitors travel via Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Paris, or Iceland.

Travelling by car for UK visitor
Calais to the French Alps is around 890km (570miles) and you should allow around 8 to 9 hours for the drive.
Travelling by train
We recommend checking on Google for the latest restrictions with taking your bike on the TGV. Reports suggest it must be in a bike box. Local trains and any Non TGV services tend to be kitted out with bike racks.
